Systemwide policies, changes and updates:

  • The best place to look is on the HCPS Website www.hcps.org There is information that is constantly being updated regarding systemic dates, changes and policies as they occur.
  • Call us at 410-638-3658. Office Hours during the school year are 6:30am-3:30pm. 
  • During the summer, the NHMS Office is open M-Th from 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM. 

Questions about a specific class or subject:

  • The best way to find out specific information about a class or teacher is to email the teacher. We have a website with a directory that can help you find the teacher names and emails. You can access it HERE
  • You can always call the school at 410-638-3658. We will get you in touch with the best person to answer your questions.

Technology Question:

  • HCPS has a technology support line. Call-in for Technology Support on days when school is in session: 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (410) 809-6336 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (410) 809-6370
  • In many cases the teacher can answer your question directly. If you are able to email you can email the teacher. A directory of teacher emails can be found HERE
  • Most days when school is in session we have staff on site in our Media Center who can often answer questions or refer you to the correct person if they cannot. Call 410-638-3658.

Attendance questions:

  • If you forgot to log in to your attendance and receive an automated call, you may email and let her know of the error.
  • If you know of an absence in advance, email [email protected] It is also a good idea to email your teachers.

 Health and wellness:

  • Questions regarding health and wellness are best addressed by contacting our school nurses. You can reach her at [email protected] or [email protected]. To reach the nurse by phone contact the school at 410-638-3658 when school is in session.
  • Our school counselors are available to assist you as well.
