The vision statement for the HCPS School Counseling Program: Harford County Public School students will develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle and well-balanced social-emotional mindset that fully supports their ability to be life-time learners. All students will achieve at a high level of academic success that will enable them to attain a post-secondary goal that will result in a life time of successful career opportunities. Students are empathetic and maintain a high level of integrity which positively contributes to their communities, the nation and the global setting.
The vision statement for North Harford Middle School: We at North Harford Middle School strive to be a community of learners who values all of its members. The purpose of this community is to provide a quality education through an array of opportunities to learn and succeed. This will be done in an atmosphere of mutual respect, so that each of us can become an effective and productive individual.
The vision statement for the North Harford School Counseling Program: The vision of the North Harford Middle School’s comprehensive school counseling program is to have all students feel valued, capable, and supported so that each student will be able to reach his or her fullest potential. The students will be able to manage their emotions so they can become problem solvers and so they can be respectful citizens. These students will also be prepared to inquire, collaborate, communicate and persevere to be passionate thinkers so that they can make a meaningful contribution to the ever changing society in which we live.
